This past Friday, I had the privilege of photographing a wonderful family. We took a few shots of the whole family and then a bunch of their daughter Emily (I have photographed her before) who just turned 6 months old! I couldn't be happier with how the session went- even though we were racing the sun for some great shots!
Last Sunday was Ryder's Christening and it was such a beautiful day! He was the only one being baptized at the moment so everyone was focused on him. His parents and Godparents did a wonderful job and his whole family was there to witness the event. Everyone was happy to see him in his adorable outfit and he cooperated for the entire thing. I loved photographing the event and love the fact that the different colors from the stained glass windows reflected everywhere in the church. I thank the family for inviting me and will hopefully be photographing this gorgeous little boy again!
Remember Emily Joan from a few months ago? Well, this past weekend was her Christening- which was simply wonderful. Lots of friends and family to celebrate such a tiny person. I loved every minute of it! There are also a bunch (I feel like at least half) of her older sister Madeline- who is so photogenic I couldn't resist! Also, please check out the link below to see a video- I usually do not do these but tried something new.. I would love your opinions!!
Now, for some reason, most of the photographs from this amazing day look a million times better in black and white. I feel like you simply concentrate on the subjects with more meaning. Tell me what you think and please invite me to a family event of yours!
This is Emma. If you are a frequent follower of mine, then you should remember the portraits of Giovanni. Well, this is his new baby sister. She is absolutely gorgeous- just six pounds when I photographed her. I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoyed creating them :)
For a school project, I had to pick a photograph that I thought I could recreate just about exactly. For my photograph, I picked one of a little boy photographed as an indian by Three Nails Photography (I absolutely love his work!). So, this shoot was obviously completely 100% inspired by his shoot. Not to be better, worse, or anything in between. But to see a photograph that I love, recreate it, and then put my own spin on it. Hope you enjoy it!
Luke is making his First Holy Communion next month. This shoot was a bunch of fun with the whole family getting involved. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!
I see Abby every Wednesday and I learn something new from her every time. She has such a personality for a girl her age and she is way too smart! She can figure out who to ask for a snack (depending on who just gave her one), name all of the members of the Fresh Beat Band, and tell you the color of everything you see. She loves to learn, and apparently go for long walks! She had her mother and I walk for well over a mile on this photo session. Enjoy :)
This is my gorgeous little sister Maddie. She doesn't even have to try to model, her eyes pierce through my lens without trying.
Hopefully you remember the photos of Madeline Grace I took a while ago.. well, she's a big sister to a beautiful little girl named Emily. Here are her newborn photos at one week old.
This is Lily Jane. She is absolutely one of my favorite people to photograph- she makes the shoot fun with her personality, spunk, and attitude. One minute she's dancing around, the next she is staring into the camera with these big brown eyes. The first outfit is from her fancy Valentine's dinner with her Daddy and the second is what she picked out when I told her she could wear whatever she wanted. I love when she brought in the guitar! Let me know what you guys think of this session :) And of course, if you are interested in a session, just contact me via the 'contact' tab above!
